Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology .-- Bachelor of Engineering Technology major in Electrical Technology: Technological University of the Philippines, 2022. Summary: The remote-controlled disinfecting machine can help to have an easier way of disinfecting, save time and effort, both which are favorable in the health of the operator. The main objective of this study was to create a disinfectant machine that can be controlled remotely from 8-10 meters away. The machine can carry chemicals and powered by a 12-hour battery. It can run for up to 12 hours continuously and can carry 16 to 20 litters of disinfecting chemicals. The machine can be controlled remotely from afar via a remote- control. The process of disinfection can be comparable to the process of fumigation, which uses a spraying nozzle to produce a mist. Test results had shown that the machine is functional in terms of spraying capability, mobility, and disinfecting efficiency. It can be remotely control within 8 to 10 meters distance. It can spray mist within 1000cm in both sides and can carry 16 to 20 litters of disinfectant chemical. The machine is fabricated using angular steel bar measured of 120cm width, 180cm length and height of 120cm and weld together ensure the durability of the machine. The machine is functional during the evaluation; the respondents have given an excellent descriptive rating with a total mean of 4.53.
