Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology .-- Bachelor of Engineering Technology major in Mechanical Engineering Technology with option in Automotive Engineering Technology: Technological University of the Philippines, 2022. Summary: This research project and development have focused on another way to keep the inside temperature of the car as low as possible versus the outside temperature when parked in direct sunlight. Upon researching, the researchers found out that high temperature inside the car is harmful to the vehicle and humans. It led to the development of a project which covers the windshield and windows of the car to prevent too much heat from entering the car when parked under the sun. The researchers found that extreme heat inside the car can damage the car dashboard, some accessories, and the car seat leather. That can burn the skin and damage to other accessories it is only natural for the driver to turn the car AC on and the first air that will come out the vent is harmful to human to breathe in. The researchers tested the materials of the project’s capability and durability when placed in a different situation and if it does lessen the temperature inside the car. This project tested for its functionality with the value of 80% proves that it can actually lessen heat inside the car and its durability when faced with natural weather conditions such the rain and wind. This project, will not only protect the interior of the car but will also add to the convenience of the driver and passengers when first entering the vehicle parked in direct sunlight with a more comfortable inside temperature rather than entering a car that actually burns.
