Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology.-- Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Electrical Engineering Technology: Technological University of the Philippines, Manila. 2025 Summary: This study presents a Modified Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe bending machine designed to streamline the process of producing high-quality 90-degree bends in PVC pipes while also providing the functionality of cutting pipes to a 60 cm length. A heating element softens the PVC for bending operations, and a DC motor performs the cutting. The system is powered by a comprehensive suite of components, including a circuit breaker, power supply, push buttons, a selector switch, and a temperature controller. The temperature controller regulates the system based on the ambient temperature, automatically shutting down the system when it reaches the 70°C limit. An emergency stop feature protects the operator from potential injuries caused by moving machinery and can prevent damage to the machine itself by halting operation before a dangerous situation escalates. Testing results confirmed the system's ability to produce 90-degree bends and cut pipes to 60 cm. The machine received highly positive evaluations from 50 individuals, including TUP Lopez faculty and engineers, TUP electrical students, and electricians from Barangay Magallanes Lopez, Quezon. The evaluation yielded an overall mean rating of 4.66, classified as "Excellent/Highly Acceptable," indicating the apparatus's potential benefits for all households, especially electricians. Keywords: Polyviynl Chloride (PVC), Heating Element, DC Motor, Actuator
