Tea is an aromatic refreshment commonly arranged by pouring hot or bubbling water
over cured clears out of the tea plant. The research created Miracle fruit, leaf Tea, a
moment refreshment tea made of traditional process of dried leaf extract of the Miracle
natural product leaf aims to expand the usage, popularity and also to promote the health
benefits of Miracle Fruit leaves. Miracle fruit Leaf Tea goes through several analyses to
ensure its acceptability such as proximate analysis, microbial analysis and nutrient
analysis. The result showed that Miracle Fruit Leaf Tea contains Ash (5.54%), Moisture
(7.16%), Crude fiber (2.14%), Crude fat (0.80%), Crude protein (2.15%), Iron
(0.0073%), Calcium (0.86%), and Zinc (0.047%) that are good for the body. The general
acceptability of Miracle Fruit Leaf Tea results to 7.68 with descriptive rating of “Very
Much Acceptable”. Therefore, the researchers consider Miracle Fruit Leaf Tea as a new
variety of Tea.
