The study Development of Self Stirring Spray Gun Reservoir aims to prove the
possibility of proper paint mixture that helps students and painters to prevent time
consuming and dirty work on the painting process. Moreover, the product aims to
enhance the cleaning process of reservoir without the use of too much thinner. The
mixing theory and operation of the device abolish the filthy works in the car paint
mixing. It has the features of charging port, on and off switch button, LED light for
battery status, and easy locking system. It also has an enhanced charging system that is
boosted by the 3.7 volts battery to power the 9 volts DC motor. The device uses TP4056
module and Step up module for charging system, 12-millimeter bearings for shaft fittings,
and 9 volts DC motor for motorized the propeller stirrer. Test results showed that the
device could be used in any paint mixtures on automotive painting and paint industry
without issues and the test data were processed as expected in terms in speed and
accuracy. the device was evaluated by 15 evaluators composed of power plant professor,
professionals, and students under the Power Plant Engineering Technology Department
of Technological University of the Philippines – Manila and was rated with an overall
mean of 4.65 with a descriptive rating of “Excellent”. This signifies the devices
usefulness to all students and painters in terms of mixing paint straightforwardly.
