Includes bibliographic references and index.
This tracer study aims to navigate the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant
Management alumni at the Technological University of the Philippines- Manila school
year 2019 - 2022. The study is designed to source out the employability percentage and
the effectiveness of the curriculum of BSHRM in TUP-M. According to the findings of
this study, most graduates are effectively hired locally and abroad, but only a few works
overseas due to severe qualifications and extensive criteria. The researchers
communicated with the graduates via Facebook, email, and other social media platforms.
This study used Cronbach alpha, Weighted mean, Likert Scale, and Standard Deviation to
analyze and interpret the data collected. According to the findings, most graduates are
employed and working in positions related to their degree. The courses they were taught
in college were critical to their success in the workplace. In addition, the absence of alumni
respondents to the employability rate of the graduates in BSHRM of TUP-M needs a
curriculum enhancement to produce internationally competitive restaurateurs and
hoteliers continuously. Therefore, the researchers would like to propose a curriculum
enhancement plan to improve and address the needs of the industry.
