Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology.-- Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Electronics Engineering Technology: Technological University Of The Philippines, Manila. 2023 Summary: This study, Development of Automatic Pig – Feeding Machine, aimed to develop a pig- feeding machine that can feed the pigs automatically and motorize the process that will facilitate the farming of livestock of pigs in Lopez, Quezon. This shall also ensure productivity and efficiency in the process. The project features DS3231 RTC (Real Time Clock) to control the time that they need to eat, battery bank to store electricity came from a solar panel; servo motor to set the time of movement of the motor and to balance the amount of food that can release; 4*4 matrix keypad and 20*4 LCD to manually set up the time and display what time will the pig eat, ultrasonic sensor to water levels, Arduino mega to control the manual process of feeding, solar panel to generate electricity, high-pressure DC 12V 3.7, water pump, plywood, and plastic to make a machine for pig feeding and a container to store feeds and water, and charge controller to manage the voltage and current from the PV array to prevent the battery from overcharging and over-discharging. The project was also fabricated using the locally available materials. Its testing showed relevant improvement, productivity, and accuracy in the features which resulted to more efficient pig-feeding processes. The prototype appeared to be highly acceptable with overall mean of 4.51 and is recommended adding rubber in machines for safety purposes with thorough cleaning and maintenance. Keywords: Feeding machine, real time clock, solar, portable, development, automated, monitoring device.
