This study evaluates the impact of quick response code menu systems within the
context of digital transformation on selected restaurant, with a focus on implementing
digital quick response code menu systems. This research investigated on how digital tools
are used by the food-service industry today to improve the dining experience through a
quantitative approach, analyzing customer feedback to determine the benefits of
contactless menu and the ease of navigation in a digital environment. The survey assessed
the impact of Digital Quick Response code menu involving dynamic visual engagements,
real-time updates, and flexibility, intuitive customization and brand consistency,
centralized control and remote management, and seamless integration and analytics
insights on both employees as well as customers. The customer survey focused on
multiple aspects of customer experience, including Satisfaction; Evaluation; Cognitive
Effort; Retention; Behavior Intention and overall dining experience associated with the
use of quick response code menus. The results showed that due to the facilities of
convenience and hygiene related to contactless menus, customers regarded this as having
an impact on the improvement of their experience. While the study highlights the benefits
of quick response code menus, it also addresses some potential challenges, including
concerns about digital literacy and reliance on technology. This research can help address
how digital quick response code menus can help address how digital quick response code
menus can improve customer experience, providing practitioners with practical ideas to
benefit from technology in a competitive market.
