Summary: This thesis illustrates the design and development of a semi-automated pavement block molder machine at the Technological University of the Philippines, aimed to increase the production efficiency from one block per cycle to four blocks by using a worm gear screw jack as a presser. The machine is designed using Fusion 360 and AutoCAD, constructed from mild steel and cast iron, significantly reduced molding times to an average of 29.89 seconds for 60mm blocks and 25.14 seconds for 80mm blocks, surpassing efficiency goals. It consistently produced blocks with accurate dimensions and achieved average compressive strengths of 1910.88 psi for 60mm blocks and 1074.15 psi for 80mm blocks, ultimately proving to be a valuable tool for educational and laboratory use by enhancing production rate and reducing manual labor.
