Paving blocks are still produced manually today, which is a time-consuming and labor-
intensive operation. Such hindrances significantly reduce the potential for expanding
production and ensuring seamless operations in paving block molding, particularly
affecting smaller or bigger businesses and local construction efforts. This paper suggests a
solution for reducing manual work by using a gear head induction motor to motorize the
hydraulic jack for ease in the pressing operation. The motorized paving block molder was
evaluated for conformance in terms of operational time, hydraulic jack press speed, and
ejection time. The results proved to be significantly faster than the previous prototype with
the operational time resulting to an average of 1:25 minutes, as well as the ejection time
with 6.41 seconds. These tests established that the paving block molder produced
satisfactory results and operated smoothly and efficiently. Based on the survey and
evaluations of students and civil and mechanical specialists, the paving block molder
obtained an overall mean rating of 4.5, with an excellent descriptive interpretation.
