This study is to show that paper-clay art can be a simple, accessible, and effective way for
people in Metro Manila to manage their mental health. It focuses on how Klaypel’s eco-friendly
paper-clay art can help reduce stress, support emotional healing, and improve overall mental
well-being. It inspires mental health advocates, professionals, and educators to explore creative
approaches like art therapy, making support for mental wellness more approachable and
engaging. To understand how effective and accessible this kind of therapy could be, the
researchers used a mix of methods, including surveys and data analysis, to know the changes in
participants’ stress levels, mood, and emotional resilience after taking part in Klaypel art therapy
sessions. The results are dealing with mental health challenges; they can find ways to cope,
especially through activities and social connection. The result also showed that hands-on and
creative paper-clay art can improve the mental health of residents from Metro Manila.
