This study investigates the development of safe and efficient practices in harness electrical wiring for the student populace of TVTED-Automotive within the ramparts of the Technological University of the Philippines, Manila, and used a total of 60 respondents from 1st and 2nd years enrolled during A.Y. 2023-2024. This research particularly looked into identifying common problems, safety awareness, and skill proficiency in harness electrical wiring. Hence, the study would promote effective teaching methodologies, improved practical applications, and maximize safety adherence in the wiring process. A mixed-method was used where the researchers constructed designed survey questionnaires, which employed a 5-point Likert scale for quantitative data analysis, and statistical tools, such as mean and standard deviation. Results indicated that the average student is at the moderate proficiency level in basic wiring work with continuing challenges in major areas, notably advanced applications and strict adherence to safety standards. The study identified the most relevant areas for improvement in better instructional strategies, increased access to resources, and more emphasis on safety training in either or both areas to close gaps and create a safer and more efficient learning environment.
