Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology .-- Bachelor of Technology major in Electronic Communications Engineering Technology: Technological University of the Philippines, 2024. Summary: The study, Development of C – Band Mesh – Type Parabolic Receiver Antenna Pre - Focused on Philippine Government Station aims to present a real time information dissemination capable of receiving the government program all over the Philippines. The satellite signal receiver consists of parabolic reflector that reflects the radio frequency signal to focus point, radial support that supports the parabolic reflector, elevation wheel that is used to pivot the parabolic antenna to elevation coordinates, the focal support arm that holds the low noise block down converter, the azimuth pole that is used to pivot the parabolic antenna to azimuth coordinates, and the azimuth pole support that holds the parabolic antenna. The project prototype has aperture measurement of 3 meters for high- gain signal received. This study intends to resolve Filipinos living in rural areas that delays the benefits of government information to participate in community development. The results showed that the project prototype was able to received satellite signal from different orbital location. The Apstar 5C at 138 degrees east, Asiasat 7 at 105.5 degrees east, Chinasat 6B at 115.5 degrees east, Intelsat 19 at 166 degrees east, and Measat 3D at 91.4 degrees east. The project prototype was evaluated by twenty (20) evaluators composed of electronic and communication engineers, students from electronics engineering from different states and universities and was rated with an overall mean 4.78 with a descriptive rating of “Highly Acceptable”, indicating that the project prototype is beneficial for Filipinos living in remote areas that had no access to government station.
