Cycling and coffee have a long history of benefiting each other, not just for
athletes, but for people who do cycling as a hobby and visit their local coffee shop
not only for its caffeine, but also for the relaxing ambiance and enjoying coffee solo
or even with company. Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, Philippines, is known as
a popular food hub, known for its diverse array of restaurants, cafes, and food
stalls, serving a wide range of cuisines. Even as a cycling destination, it offers both
road and mountain biking trails, with various difficulty levels to suit different skill
levels. The city's proximity to the National Capital Region (NCR) makes it an
accessible weekend getaway for cyclists. But the bicycle parking around the
cycling spots receives little to know attention in terms of aesthetics and safety.
This research paper explores the importance and significance of a compact
outdoor bike parking rack, aiming to study and analyze the possible causes, effects
and potential solutions. Using qualitative research methods, the study gathers data
from suitable participants and respondents to make sure of accurate findings. The
objective of the research includes identifying patterns, evaluating current
approaches and offering flexible and effective strategies for improvements. The
Aesthetic category got the highest weighted mean by 4.74, in conclusion, the
Cubex project is viewed as effective and functional for the cycling community and
customers of small shop owners. Achieving a "Strongly Agree/Excellent" rating
for functionality, durability, workability, aesthetic, safety, and economy resulting in
an overall average rating of "4.67", corresponding to Strongly Agree/Excellent.
