This research tackled the logistical hurdles the variable weather conditions, particularly El Niņo and La Niņa seasons, affect outdoor events in the Philippines. To address these challenges comprehensively, the study focused on the development of a semi-automatic
integrated tent system. The tent system incorporates innovative features such as a semi- automatic remote-controlled setup, solar panels for energy generation, a rechargeable
Bluetooth sound system, and LED lighting. The objectives of the research encompass the design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of the tent's functionality, durability, workability, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, and safety. The scope of the study involves the creation of a vehicle-mounted tent with specific dimensions, ensuring adaptability to diverse weather conditions. The prototype produced covers an area of 3.5m2
, designed to fit the standard roof area of an SUV. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to enhancing safety, comfort, and adaptability during outdoor events, thereby ensuring successful event execution despite unpredictable weather patterns. The research concludes with the presentation of the prototype for the integrated tent system for outdoor activities, accompanied by a descriptive assessment rating it as "Very Good/Very Acceptable" and achieving a mean evaluation score of 4.48. The findings of this study offer valuable insights and practical solutions that can significantly enhance the execution of outdoor activities. By manipulating the evaluation results, people can effectively plan and execute outdoor events with greater efficiency, safety, and adaptability to variable weather conditions.
