The employment of manual systems with different requirements in each venue or facility in an organization causes confusion and inefficiency. In response, Planorama, a web-based venue scheduling system, was developed to standardize booking venues and facilities at the Technological University of the Philippines – Manila. With Planorama, clients can easily book and manage their reservations by registering to the system, choosing a venue, and inputting information about their planned event. The clients can choose from thirteen (13) venues and facilities within the campus, which can be further expanded according to the needs of the university. The system employs a notification system, which informs the client of the status of their request, updating them with the latest information. The system enables the management of reservations through the venue admins and directors' accounts. The adding of users and managing all the venues and facilities are all controlled by School Admins. The system integrated a role-based access control system that enables four user roles for the system: Client, Venue Admin, Venue Director, and School Admin. The system was built using various web development technologies and frameworks, which included HTML & CSS, Visual Studio Code, Git & Github, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, MERN Stack, Tailwind CSS, RadixUI, Render, Node Mailer, Google APIs, Postman API, Netlify, and Notion. This study was evaluated using the ISO 25010 software evaluation quality model from thirty (30) respondents, 15 of whom were users and 15 were IT professionals. The system earned an overall mean score of 3.60, which was described as “Highly Acceptable.” The system’s exceptional mean score can be found in its user-friendly experience and efficient process of booking and reserving a venue or facility.
