The study, titled "Development of Electric Engraving Tool for Block Printing," aimed to develop an engraving tool that would assist engravers and students in speeding up their work and outputs. A prototype for use on block printing rubber. The prototype is long and oblong in shape for a better grip, which also leads to correct engraving posture when using the device on tasks. It is electronically controlled to guarantee that all the device's components perform properly and seamlessly. The use of this prototype will reduce the difficulties associated with a manual engraving tool and, concurrently, eliminate injuries suffered by engravers drawn to block printing projects or outputs. Making an electric engraving tool with a heating element, circuit board with a fuse, switch, and LED is the major objective of the researchers. Twenty (20) responders, made up of ten (10) students, five (5) professors, and five (5) professional engravers, were assembled by the project's supporters to test and assess it in terms of its functionality, durability, economy, aesthetics, safety, and workability. The researchers also conducted different tests in terms of speed, accuracy and quality of engraving using manual engraving tools and electric engraving tool. In the evaluation, the mean rating of the six (6) criteria are 4.41 for functionality, 4.49 for workability, 4.31 for durability, 4.08 for safety, 4.53 for both aesthetics and economy. The prototype received the highest marks for economy and aesthetics, demonstrating that the evaluators were satisfied with it. The respondents gave the project an overall mean rating of 4.39, which is in the "Very Acceptable" category.
