Defeathering chicken is commonly done using bare hands, a prototype of this kind can do it more faster and with greater accuracy. As a result, neither the factory nor the poultry farmer can produce the necessary defeathered chickens using this type of traditional defeathering procedure. Because there is a higher demand for chickens, people traditionally slaughter their chickens because there is no machinery that can slaughter chickens completely. This study focuses on the innovation and improvement of defeathering machines for poultry purposes, particularly chickens. Loading a feathered chicken and unloading a defeathered chicken are the two steps in the defeathering process. Once the chicken is in the tub, the machine will start spinning and begin defeathering the chickens. It was evaluated to determine its acceptability in terms of maintainability, safety, functionality, economy, and aesthetics. The evaluators were composed of 19 individuals with an expertise in defeathering chickens. The evaluation result obtained an overall mean of 3.20, with an equivalent descriptive rating of "Acceptable." The result showed that the prototype achieved its function in defeathering the chickens.
