Travelling has been an important part of human lives. Therefore, it is important to increase the satisfaction of an individual during travel (Sa'ad, 2019). One of the ways that satisfaction can be increased is through their bags, for many people, bags are one of the most essential accessories that serve both an aesthetic and practical use case. Different activities would require different bags, as different bags serve different purposes especially if you are travelling. The market for bags and luggage in the Philippines has been on an upward hill which is caused by the increase of young people who are working, increase of retailers selling bags and the increasing domestic and outbound tourism (Ken, 2019). This study aims to create a prototype of a multifunctional bag called a Dhazzle bag, taken from the name of the researcher and from the word puzzle as one of the major features of the bag is it being multifunctional like a puzzle. Hence, the study used a quantitative approach in creating the design. Using 87 respondents to evaluate the design in terms of safety, aesthetics, durability, and ergonomics using a survey questionnaire. The results showed that the respondents found the initial porotype good in terms of SAFETY which garnered 2.86 equivalent to good, AESTHETIC which scored 2.74 equivalent to good, DURABILITY which scored 3.11 equivalent to good, and ERGONOMICS which scored 2.83 equivalent to good. Most of the respondents also showed interest in buying the Dhazzle bag if it were to be made available in the market. The study would contribute greatly to the continuous exploration and innovation made to bags in order to fit the ever-changing needs of the market and young travelers.
