The study aims to create a LAKBAY TUP-Manila Interactive 3D Tour Guide featuring AV/ VR walkthroughs for promotional purposes. The goal is to help visitors, students in admission, and teachers find offices easily during admission and enrolment. The prototype includes a 3D animated AV/ VR walkthrough, a 2D mini-map navigation system, and a selector and searching button. The researcher plans to consult with industry and academic experts for further development. The prototype has received satisfactory ratings from visitors, students, and teachers.
Students, visitors, and teachers assessed a website program, 3D animation, and AV/VR animated walkthrough using pre-existing evaluation criteria. An average rating for Functionality is 4.72, Aesthetic is 4.91, Strength is 4.88, and Safety and Security is 4.62, with an excellent summary evaluation from students, visitors, and teachers. High marks were given to the system for its attractiveness, suitability for use, effectiveness of performance of functionality through campus overview, promotion and presentation, instructive and educational value, and safety and security. Although most users found the system easy to use, some could find it more difficult or less intuitive. The good rate aspect, meanwhile, was security, suggesting that it could be strengthened. With a moderate reliability score, safety may be an area for improvement. Overall, the system is excellent in terms of functionality, Aesthetic, Strength, Safety and Security.
The system's aesthetics, functionality, and suitability score are high, indicating it meets users' functional requirements. Performance efficiency is strong, with a high mean and low standard deviation. The system is widely compatible with other systems, software, or devices, and is user-friendly. However, the higher standard deviation may indicate variability in user experiences. In informative and educational value, the mean is 4.64, with a lower standard deviation suggesting inconsistency. Safety and security score is 4.30, with a lower mean suggesting security needs improvement. Overall, the system excels in functionality, aesthetics, strength, safety, and security, but security appears to be the weakest point, indicating room for improvement.
