People drink water from nearby sources without knowing the quality of the water. People only knew that the way to tell if the water is potable is to measure its turbidity. Water filtration is one of the methods developed and utilized by man to obtain clean, drinkable water. Yet, the existing filtering equipment on the market is large enough to be carried anywhere, anytime. As a result, the researchers devised a portable filtering device to
address these issues. The objectives were selected as guides in the construction of an “IoT- Based Portable Water Filtration System” through problem identification. This device is
built with a pumping system that is linked to the battery and automatically gathers water. It is equipped with sensors that detect the quality of the water, including total dissolved solids (TDS), pH, and turbidity. It has the ability to send data and show it on a website or browser. The user can turn on the system by physical switch. The device, which is utilized in filtration systems, was powered by a 12V motorcycle battery. This study has been carefully constructed and thoroughly examined to assure its operational conditions and portability. Using a carefully thought-out process, data collection and reliability testing were achieved. The project was evaluated using FURPS model and acquired a mean score of 5.00, with descriptive rating of excellent in the prototype and in mobile application. The results suggest that the prototype is effective and ensure, transparency of the water, clean and safe to drink.
