The Development of IoT-Based Weighing Scale for Monitoring and Recording of Purchased Copra aims to develop a weighing scale that can monitor and record the purchased copra and provide accurate, real-time data tracking while ensuring seamless integration with a mobile application for easy access to recorded information. The system will send an SMS as a receipt, offering a convenient and automated way to confirm transactions for both buyers and seller. The prototype was developed by using Arduino UNO R3 microcontroller, single point load cell, HX711 load cell amplifier, NodeMCU V3 ESP8266, LCD I2C, and Buck Converter. The data gathered on the weighing scale, which can be accessed via smart phones or android phones. The load cell is placed at the base and is tasked with weighing. The HX711loadcell amplifier module is positioned in the junction box together with the other major components. The LCD, buttons, and switch of the weighing scale are located at the top of the junction box. The result of the weighed copra showed in the LCD first, then transfer to the database of the mobile application through NodeMCU V3 ESP8266. The project and mobile application was evaluated by (15) sellers and buyers of copra, (4) fruit and vegetable sellers, (5) TUP-Quezon Instructor, (1) hardware specialist, (25) students from TUP-Quezon Extension Campus and was rated with an overall mean of 4.99, indicating that it is "Highly Acceptable".
