Air conditioning unit technicians use different kinds of equipment or apparatus when doing their work to inspect the air conditioning unit. Considering many parameters such as pressure, temperature, airflow and leak test. As a result, they must bring a lot of equipments separately and it is a hassle when they are commuting. Fortunately, in the advent of technology, it can be put together and combine into a single apparatus and made it smaller and portable. The goal of this study is to develop a portable air conditioning unit analyzer using microprocessor called Arduino mega and installed on it are different type of sensors such as thermal, pressure, gas and measuring instruments, anemometer, voltmeter, and ammeter. It will act as a debugger to show the problem of the air conditioning unit on an Android tablet. It can also print out the result on a thermal printer wirelessly via Bluetooth. Today’s existing technology that used in troubleshooting air conditioning unit focus only in one parameter, existing device such as refrigerant identifier and smart thermostats for leakage detection. “The Advance Monitoring System for Aircon Maintenance” determine all important parameters in troubleshooting non-ducted air conditioning unit such as pressure, temperature, airflow and current rating, the device can also help in leak detection. The device was tested to 14 air conditioning units, which compose of 10 units window type and 4 units, floor stand split type, 14 out of 14 the diagnosis was proven all correct based on the before and after troubleshooting of the ACU’s. The device able to do its purpose in helping the user to reduce the time in determining the trouble and to function as all in one device.
