Students encounter many obstacles in their professional career preparation in the rapidly
changing work market of today. Uncertainty regarding career choices is one of the
biggest challenges, mostly because industry requirements are changing so quickly. The
system TUPath was designed to let students manage their academic records, upload
projects, map abilities to subjects, and create industry-standard profiles. TUPath also has
tools and features for department’s users and administrators to control users and keep an
eye on platform activity. The MERN stack—MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js—as
well as the Agile development process were used in the system's construction. Following
development, the system was tested for general system operation, compatibility, and
usability. Using a 4-point Likert scale, the assessment was carried out by the student users
and the department. With a grand weighted mean rating of 3.63, the results demonstrated
a high degree of acceptability, demonstrating the system's effectiveness, usability, and
functionality. TUPath was created especially to help TUP students become more visible
in the classroom and more prepared for the workforce.
