The study addresses the challenges faced by students using the current

educational tools of students in the field of Beauty Care and Wellness (BTVTED-
BCW) requires a comprehensive understanding of human skin, particularly the

structure and functions of its various layers. The problem is that current educational
tools and resources for teaching 3rd year BTVTED- BCW students, are highly
limited in their interactivity. The interactive learning materials create a gap in
students' ability to visualize and deeply understand skin layers which are
fundamental to many cosmetology and skincare practices.
This study will employ a mixed-method approach, integrating philosophical
assumptions and methods of inquiry. This research approach involves collecting,
analyzing, interpreting, and reporting both qualitative and quantitative data.
Furthermore, the study will utilize design-based research, where qualitative data
analysis is conducted first, followed by quantitative data collection and analysis.
The study aims to identify the learning experiences and challenges associated with
the current educational tools of studying skin layers. To enhance the 3D models,
prioritize detail, durability, and integration with AR/VR. Support teachers, make
models affordable, and expand research. Gather student feedback, include diverse
skin types, and develop variations for different learning levels to ensure their
ongoing success.
