The development of an unmanned vehicle for infographics and public announcement was an
innovative approach designed to enhance information dissemination and campus-wide
communication within the College of Industrial Technology. This study focused on designing and
constructing a system capable of autonomous mobility, audio broadcasting, and infographic
information to effectively deliver announcements in indoor facilities. The mechanical structure
included a chassis and mounted wheels for mobility, and electronic parts such as the bluetooth
speaker with wireless microphone for public announcement and digital tablet for infographic
display, as well as internal mechanisms like a gear motor and battery. The system also included a
variety of sensors, infrared and ultrasonic distance sensors for line reading and obstacle detection.
The system underwent a series of tests, which indicated that it showed better accuracy tracking on
smooth surfaces for curves and straight lines. These findings suggested that the prototype was a
promising development in the field of public announcements. The prototype’s ability to deploy
message ranges showed that clear announcements up to 500 cm distance, with a peak sound level
of 84.5 dB and an average sound level of 80.9 dB, could lead to better distribution of information.
Thirty respondents, consisting of students and faculty, evaluated the device based on its
functionality, effectiveness, and design. The system received an overall rating of 4.84, indicating
a high level of performance. Findings confirmed that the unmanned vehicle was a practical and
reliable solution for improving public announcements in academic or public settings.
