Dissertation note: College of Science.-- Bachelor of science in information system: Technological University of the Philippines, 2025. Summary: In response to the perennial delayed credit billings experienced by the employees at the canteen of Flexo Manufacturing Corporation-Valenzuela plant. This project introduces “Employee Canteen Credit Ordering and Billing System (ECCOBS)”. The credit order taking, tabulation and summarization of employee canteen credit orders and bills are done manually, leading to inefficiencies that cause delayed and piled-up billings. Leveraging the ECCOBS tailored-fit design enables real-time employee credit ordering and billing transactions that eliminate delayed billings and tedious manual processes. By integrating the employee’s identification card, food items, bar code and glove wireless scanner, the food server attendant can take credit orders and serve food to employees at the same time without disrupting the latter activities. In addition, the weekly accumulated ordered amount is shown during the actual order-taking process, which helps employees with their food budget. The system, which is developed using the Microsoft.NET Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, ASP.NET, ADO, IIS Application server and Microsoft SQL Express as its database engine, underwent rigorous testing for functional suitability, performance efficiency, and usability. Evaluation based on ISO 25010 criteria confirms its acceptability and performance efficiency. Through collaboration with Flexo Manufacturing Corporation, ECCOBS aims to simplify credit ordering and billing processes, offering a seamless and integrated approach for Flexo canteen concessionaires, thereby contributing to the advancement of real-world challenges. The findings of a survey conducted with 30 respondents evaluated the "Development of ECCOBS: An Employee Canteen Credit Ordering and Billing System." The system garnered an average total mark of 67.53 mean points, which shows its acceptance as it satisfies the main core requirements of employee ordering and billing process. It garnered 92.57% acceptance rating on functional suitability that shows suitability of the solution, 93% acceptance rating on usability that shows its benefits to the employees and 94.75% acceptance rating on performance efficiency.
