The study, Development of a Portable PET Plastic Bottle Shredder Machine, is intended to lessen or slow down plastic bottle pollution. Improperly disposed waste may be discarded on land and in oceans, where it contaminates water and destroys aquatic life. Improper disposal also leads to many different types of pollution, which affects air quality as well as human health. Developing a portable PET plastic bottle shredder machine that grinds plastic bottles or polyethylene terephthalate PET plastic bottles for easy access for recycling materials or additive mixtures for cement. The prototype is fabricated using local and available materials, which have five major features: shredder blades, compartment, DC high-torque motor, reduction motor, and spherical wheels; the other materials are chassis- mounted transformers, capacitors, fuse, on/off switches, bearings, 20-mm rod, 8mm shafting, angle bars, tubular bars, screws, and roller wheels. The fabrication process is performed with hand tools such as screwdriver, soldering iron, multi-tester, and welding machine. The development of a portable PET plastic bottle shredder machine was assessed by evaluating the acceptability level of the developed project using a validated survey questionnaire. Overall, the acceptability of the prototype evaluation mean is 4.5 with a descriptive rating of high acceptable in terms of functionality, aesthetics, workability, economy, and safety.
