This capstone project focuses on designing and testing a web-based campus food ordering system for the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Canteen. The purpose of the system is to provide a convenient and efficient platform for students and staff to order food, improving the ordering process, user experience, and food order management. The objectives include developing user-friendly interfaces for customers, sellers, and administrators, ensuring seamless browsing, selection, and checkout of food items. The system incorporates authentication and verification mechanisms for data security. The agile software development methodology is employed for iterative development and continuous feedback. Rigorous testing, including functionality, reliability, and security, is conducted. The test results show significant improvements in efficiency, convenience, and user satisfaction. The evaluation affirms the system's effectiveness in streamlining food ordering processes at TUP Canteen. The overall mean result of ISO 25010 is 3.67, indicating that the system is highly acceptable. It provides a valuable solution for enhancing the overall food ordering experience on campus, with user-friendly interfaces, cash on delivery payment, and improved management of food orders.--Author's Abstract.
