The traditional car rental businesses relying on manual booking process encounter several challenges that hinder operational efficiency and the ability to meet the customers' demand effectively. For this reason, the manual car rental booking processes involve paperwork, manual data entry, and lengthy confirmation procedures. In addition, manual car rental utilizes the marketplace in the social media as the platform for booking and transaction. This results in delays, inefficiencies, lack of accessibility for both customers and car rental companies, leading to longer wait time and potential booking errors. The study aimed to develop a mobile application-based car rental system, called TranspoRent, that aids shifting manual processes to a centralized application. The TranspoRent was developed using Java as programming language, MySQL for database, and Android Studio for development. The mobile application is compatible in any Android device running Android 5 or higher. The produced mobile application - TranspoRent-received a grand weighted mean of 3.11 and was rated "Very Acceptable" in the ISO 25010 criteria Functional Suitability and "Highly Acceptable" in the criteria Usability.--Author's Abstract.
