The study developed the project entitled "Voice Buddy: A Voice-controlled Aide Using Google Speech Application Programming Interface". The main purpose of this study was to develop a conversational, voice-controlled device that will help a user in a certain task through voice. It can serve as a voice assistant through the voice box for students, workers and people who want to have a productive day. It can also serve as a research learning tool. The system of the device was programmed through Python and Google Speech API. The Raspberry Pi Zero WH serves as a tool for a specified task, while the Voice Bonnet is added to help capture audio and sound. The device was evaluated by 40 respondents composed of students, employee and homebody using the ISO 9126 criteria namely, functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, compatibility, security, and maintainability. Evaluation result revealed that the device is very acceptable.--Author's Abstract.
