The traditional attendance processing in the past relied on manual methods, which were time-consuming and labor-intensive, often diverting valuable class time. This study aimed to design, fabricate, assemble, evaluate, and test an attendance system utilizing RFID and biometric technology for Electronic 4 students. The prototype developed an innovative attendance system that allows students to use an RFID card and fingerprint for efficient attendance tracking. The system's design and assembly were informed by viable inputs, and the portable attendance system was fabricated using ABS plastic sheets, a standard material. The system demonstrated rapid attendance recording, taking only 3 seconds for time-in and time-out transactions. A total of 30 respondents, comprising students, parents, and experts, evaluated the prototype and rated it with an overall mean score of 4.55, corresponding to a descriptive rating of "Excellent." The findings suggest that this study has the potential to enhance the efficiency of attendance processing in school departments, enabling automatic recording and streamlining administrative tasks.
