This research created En-Health, an internet-based patient record and medicine inventory
system that is intended to improve the provision of health services in Barangay Mambog
1, Bacoor City, Cavite. The system was intended to substitute conventional manual
methods with a centralized computerized platform to simplify patient data management
and tracking of medicines. En-Health features basic functionalities of secure patient
record storage, real-time inventory tracking, automated reminders for low or
near-expiration stock, and a simple user interface for health workers. Employing the
Agile framework, the system was created with ongoing feedback from barangay health
workers. Evaluation results revealed that En-Health obtained "Excellent" grades in all the
quality criteria, such as Functional Suitability and Security (Weighted Mean = 4.71),
Performance Efficiency, Compatibility, Usability, Reliability, Maintainability, and
Portability (Weighted Means = 4.55 to 4.66). The system received a grand weighted mean
of 4.63, reflecting its high effectiveness, reliability, and user satisfaction. Slight
improvements were recommended in the aspects of interface design and peak-time
performance. In general, En-Health shows the capability of web-based solutions in
enhancing local healthcare operations.
