This study, development of registrar transaction kiosk was designed and developed to ease
the queuing experience of all students and facilitators of registrar’s office, enabling
students to easily determine their availability for the day. This system aims to reduce the
lengthy queues at the registrar's office. A designated automated search engine positioned
in proximity to the TUP Registrar will organize the process for students and faculty
members by eliminating the need to queue at specific registrar window. The Registrar
Transaction Kiosk has the features of an LCD touch screen, thermal receipt printer, request
slip printer, remote IO 16 digital, USB converter, control pc, 24volts power supply, outlets,
metal sheet. Angle bar, metal bar, The Registrar Transaction Kiosk was evaluated by (24)
students (11) registrar office staff. (5) Professor’s and (5) IT experts the researchers
fabricated the project titled the Development of Registrar Transaction Kiosk to determine
the transaction kiosk acceptability in terms of effectiveness, workmanship, functionality,
safety, and user-friendliness. Descriptive rating of Excellence on the functionality of the
prototyped signifies that it was highly acceptable by the respondents of the transaction
kiosk as evaluated by students and professionals.
