Buildings are extremely susceptible to earthquakes. When earthquakes have occurred in the past, infrastructure has taken the brunt of the damage. Most structures readily collapse, resulting in increased damage and deaths, particularly among humans. The base isolation system is one of the earthquake-resistant protective systems. Modern base isolation involves placing a suspension system in between the base and the main structure to isolate it from the base. In this study, ETABS software was used Wo model and analyze the fixed base construction before determining the maximum column force. The lead rubber bearing isolator is also built to withstand the maximum manual load. Following that, the ETABS software models and analyzes the base isolated structure using these parameters. The linear method of analysis is used to analyze both fixed and base isolated structures. Finally, a comparison of structural responses between the two structures has been performed. It has been found that fixed base structures show significantly greater lateral displacements as floor height increases than base isolated structures. The rate of base isolated structures accelerates more in the lower levels and decreases gradually. As a result of LRB, the story drifts reduced in base isolated than it does in fixed base structures. Reduced stiffness makes the building more flexible, which causes the seismic energy to disperse.
