Dissertation note: College of Science -- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Technological University of the Philippines, 2023. Abstract: The research paper presents the Document Request for Barangay Batasan Hills: A Decision Support System. The system aims to streamline and improve the efficiency of various administrative tasks and services offered by the barangay. The system caters to three types of users: admin, resident, and staff. The admin user possesses a comprehensive set of features, including a dashboard for an overview of the system, the ability to publish announcements, manage user accounts, generate and print various documents such as Barangay Business Clearance, Barangay Residency, and Barangay Clearance. The admin user can also edit resident information, update Barangay officials' details, manage blotters, change passwords, and perform backups. Residents can benefit from the system by requesting documents, viewing announcements, send an inquiry and reporting blotters. The system provides a convenient way for residents to access necessary documents and stay informed about the latest news and announcements. Staff members have access to a dashboard that provides an overview of the system's activities. They can generate and print documents, including Barangay Business Clearance, Barangay Residency, and Barangay Clearance. Additionally, staff members can edit resident information, update Barangay officials' details, manage blotters, and change their passwords. By developing this database-driven system, the research aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and information management within Barangay Batasan Hills. The system allows for easier and quicker access to essential documents, streamlines administrative tasks, and provides a platform for effective communication between residents and barangay officials. Ultimately, this research contributes to the improvement of governance and public service at the local level. The web-based system was developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and it is hosted on the Hostinger web hosting platform. Test results showed that the web-based system can run in any browsers running at least up to date versions and perform its intended operations without incompatibility issues. The web-based system was also evaluated by 30 evaluators composed of barangay lupon members, office clerks, and end users using ISO 25010 software quality model and was rated with an overall mean of 3.85 with a descriptive rating of "Highly Acceptable"--Author's Abstract.
