The primary goal of this study, "Development of an Automatic Time-Based Piggery
Cleaner System," was to develop a piggery cleaner to help a small group of pig farmers
save time, lessen manual labor, and keep the piggery clean. Additionally, to prevent
environmental effects from the unpleasant smell of pigs, the prototype was successfully
designed and fabricated in accordance with the standards. The cleaning system has three-
hour intervals and operates four times each day for seven minutes. The five (5) main
components of the prototype are a programmable timer, a single-phase induction motor, a
pressure washer pump, a magnetic contactor, and a circuit breaker. The prototype is made
using high-quality, locally accessible, and dependable materials. Slatted floors, nozzles,
suction, return, 8.5mm pressure, fan belt, hose clamp, Y splitters, butterfly male and
female fittings, water filter, PVC hose, royal chord, NEMA3 enclosure, and DIN rail are
additional materials used in the creation of the prototype. Because of this, they were able
to determine the tool's performance in terms of the weighted capacity of the slatted floor,
motor capacity, programmable timer capacity, and pressure washer capacity, as well as
the needed characteristics of the tool. 23 evaluators evaluated the development of an
automatic time-based piggery cleaner system using adopted questionnaires with six
criteria on a five-point scale, and it was determined to be excellent or highly acceptable in
terms of functionality, workability, efficiency, and safety with a general weighted mean
of 5.03, which is interpreted as "excellent or highly acceptable."
