Dissertation note: College of Architecture and Fine Arts -- BS in Architecture, Technological University of the Philippines, 2019. Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to provide a feasible study about the problems of the Armed Forces of the Philippines General Headquarters nowadays which affects the activities, communication, operation and efficiency of our military personnel. The study combines an investigation to the General Headquarters of AFP including to its current location, accessibility, current situation and different security problems. To accomplish this task, the study emphasized the recreation of the Armed Forces of the Philippines General Headquarters incorporated with different kinds of security considerations, strategic planning and design to enhance and modernize our military . The researchers also promotes a safer or secured location for the Armed Forces of the Philippines General Headquarters. The site is located at the Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija where it is said to be the largest reservation base command in Asia. The study also includes the law and guidelines in designing and planning including the National Building Code of the Philippines, Accessibility Code, Fire Code of the Philippines, AFP 4-5 Development, and a reference manual which is the "Mitigate Potential Terrorist Attacks Against Buildings" by Federal Emergency Management Agency. The study can provide ideas regarding to the planning and design of the AFP-GHQ to a level where it can be self-reliant and credible strategic armed forces that will provide a better defense system, accessibility and responsive headquarters. --Author's Abstract.
