The main objective of this study is to establish a wastewater technology management framework for screen reclamation of the textile-screen printing companies. Pertinent data such as profile of the screen printing companies, current practices in wastewater management, existing technologies for screen reclamation, and other relevant information were collected through literature research, survey, and interview. Validated survey questionnaires were given to the two groups of respondents, employees and top management from screen printing companies. For the analysis of data, statistical treatment such as descriptive statistics, t-test analysis and nonparametric analysis, Kendall Coefficient of Concordance, were calculated. Findings show that micro and small screen printing companies have human, organizational, and technological resources that could be utilized for the implementation of the proposed wastewater technology management system. Most of the facilities, materials, tools, and equipment used during screen reclamation are still basic and traditional. There are no written policies/guidelines, trainings and seminars provided to the employees. The respondents have moderate level of awareness and willingness to improve current practices for proper wastewater management. The key elements of the proposed framework are vision-mission, goals/objectives, wastewater management system, environmental regulations, organizational policies, best company practices, process modification, technology acquisition, adoption and innovation, with training program, operation system, maintenance program and monitoring system. The most desired features for technology adoption are low maintenance cost, easy to maintain and simple to operate. The micro and small screen printing companies have the technical capabilities to push through with the transition to wastewater technology management system. The existing human, organizational and technological resources that are in placed can be enhanced and modified to fit in the requirement of the proposed framework. And lastly, the social and economic aspects are viable since these would lead to expected benefits that would outweigh the cost of establishing the said proposal for proper wastewater management.
