The study emphasize how the adoption of CBMIS centralizes and digitizes communication channels, enabling efficient and timely dissemination of information between barangay officials and the MBB. It highlighted the use of secure communication methods for sharing announcements, project updates, task dissemination, and collaboration on community initiatives, thereby promoting transparency and cooperation. Additionally, the research explored the digital transformation of document handling through CBMIS. It demonstrated how the system eliminates the need for physical paperwork by enabling online communication and document storage. Key features such as task management, announcement dissemination, event scheduling, and document tracking ensured accuracy, up-to-date information, and accessibility for authorized personnel. Furthermore, CBMIS facilitated data analysis and reporting. During the project development, the researcher followed the Waterfall methodology. Functional Suitability and Security testing were conducted during the testing phase, and the project was evaluated by IT professionals and barangay officials. The results showed that the system was functional and usable, obtaining a "Highly Acceptable" rating with a grand weighted mean of 3.59 from twenty-five (25) respondents. The developed system aimed to enhance performance, communication, and document handling between barangays and the MBB.--Author's Abstract. | |
