520 3 _a"The study involved the development of “Accsyon: A Web-Based Accounting Solution for NCT-Parts and Bicycle Retail Store”. Its general objective was to design a web-based accounting system for NCT-Parts and Bicycle Retail Store, equipped with features such as a dashboard presenting the number of active account groups, accounts, journal entries, month-over-month revenue and expense comparisons, and a six-month income statement summary. The system allows users to add, edit, and delete journal entries. It includes an automatic report generation feature for reports like the general ledger, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, and executive summary. Additionally, it offers a comparison feature to compare financial statements across different periods, a lock dates feature for secure closure of financial records, and an archiving function for journal entries and reports. Moreover, the system includes tools for managing account groups and chart of accounts, along with maintaining lists of users. The system, created with JavaScript, PHP, SQL, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, MySQL, and Apache, was managed via phpMyAdmin. It used Visual Studio Code (VS Code) as its main editing tool and was tested using both VS Code and Postman. Evaluated by 30 respondents against ISO/IEC 25010 standards, it received a “Very Acceptable” rating with a grand weighted mean of 3.54, indicating effective performance across evaluated criteria." -- Author's Abstract
