520			_aBlind curves are notorious for bringing danger to motorists. However, some blind curves lack the necessary precautions to inform motorists. Even if some safety precautions are taken, they can be easily neglected due to the surroundings of the curve's vicinity. The researchers developed an automated system that detects the speed of the incoming vehicle and gives the necessary warning signs to help mitigate the accident. The system consists of four posts scattered in the vicinity. The posts consist of two (2) initial and two (2) main posts with different equipment and functions. Each post has a Lidar infrared sensor that detects the vehicle's speed. The information is then processed by the microcontroller, which decides what necessary precautions would be displayed by the LED board attached to the two main posts. The system is tested first in a controlled setting wherein the researchers simulate road scenarios, and the actual test is done with vehicles traversing the project deployment area.
