520 _aThe "Skillseek" mobile application, aims to address the challenges faced in the gig economy and service industry in the Philippines by providing a platform that efficiently connects clients with skilled professionals. The study explores the features, benefits, and impact of the application on service delivery, user satisfaction, and the growth of the gig economy. The objectives of the study include designing the mobile application with features such as authentication, dashboard, application, chat, and profile, utilizing various development tools, conducting thorough testing, and evaluating the level of acceptability based on the ISO 25010 standard. The evaluation of "Skillseek" revealed a high level in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security. Users appreciated the completeness and appropriateness of the app's features, quick load times, efficient data utilization, intuitive navigation, consistent performance, and the protection of personal information. However, the evaluation also identified areas for improvement, particularly in the accuracy of client-to-contract worker matching, some aspects of performance efficiency, and user error protection. The testing and evaluation phase confirmed the application's reliability and functional suitability, indicating its readiness for use within the local community. The evaluation based on ISO 25010 standards further validates the application's quality and its potential to meet the needs of its target users. However, the study acknowledges limitations such as the absence of advanced features like integrated payment systems and AI-driven skill verification, which could be addressed in future versions of the application. The "Skillseek" mobile application demonstrates a successful integration of technology to address the pressing needs of the gig economy and service industry in the Philippines. Providing a platform that efficiently connects clients with skilled professionals, "Skillseek" contributes to increasing productivity, promoting self-employment, and enhancing user satisfaction. The insights gained from the evaluation are crucial for the continued development and enhancement of the application to ensure it meets the evolving needs of its users.
