| 520 | _aMajority of the Filipinos use cars as a mode of transportation. In Metro Manila, more than a thousand cars fill the main roads, thus these cars are parked within the vicinity of the establishment where the consumer wants to. Thousands of cars are generated and owned each day, and this may bring discomfort when certain parking establishments could not accommodate any longer. Another problem is most of the consumers find a hard time when looking for a parking slot, decreasing their enthusiasm, therefore leaving them dissatisfied. It is a major loss when an establishment cannot address a situation like the inefficiency of parking systems. The goal of the study is to alleviate the discomfort of consumers in using parking systems, thus developing a parking system for generating specific slots. The system was achieved by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) modules for detecting automobiles to lead it to a certain slot, thus minimizing the time consumed when looking for it. The majority of the respondents have agreed on patronizing the project if it would be implemented in the future, garnering an average of 87.3%. Different tests were made to see the improvement in using the study compared to current parking systems available in the establishments. | ||
