Focused on the "Design and Development of a Compact Crushing and Pulverizing Machine to Produce Fertilizer Using Chicken Bones," it introduces a multifunctional machine driven by a 1HP motor, integrating a drying mechanism, crusher, and high-speed pulverizer or streamlined production. The drying process at 180 degrees Celsius for 1 hour successfully removed 42.792% of moisture from chicken bones, slightly below the 50% to 45% target. Subsequent crushing operations yielded 12-to-5-millimeter bone fragments, surpassing traditional hammer mills. The high-speed pulverizing machine refined bone particles to an impressive 400-450 microns. In rigorous testing, the machine produced 0.823kg of dried chicken bones. Quality assessment revealed elevated nutrient content, with phosphorus, nitrogen, calcium, and moisture levels at 5.497%, 1.355%, 1.440%, and 17.208%, respectively, surpassing market-available bone fertilizer. Comparison with market values emphasized the project's success, outperforming existing fertilizers in all tested categories. The "Design and Development of a Compact Crushing and Pulverizing Machine" offers a sustainable, cost-effective solution for chicken bone- based fertilizer production, addressing agricultural needs and creating additional income streams for farmers.
