520 _aThe availability and accessibility of technology-based or computer-assisted tools for education is another challenge of special education in the country. With this, the researcher developed GABAY, an interactive Android mobile application for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which is specifically made to assist them in different skills such as functional academic skills (color, shapes, and money game) , care skills (oral and dental care, body care, and nail and hair care), and life skills (objects inside the house). This study used a quantitative descriptive methodology to assess the acceptability of the GABAY application. The evaluation involved 18 Special Education (SpEd) teachers and 7 information technology (IT) experts, who provided feedback on the app's functionality, usability, responsiveness, content, and feedback mechanism. Results indicated strong agreement (mean score of 3.56) across all criteria, suggesting high acceptability of the application. Specifically, Functionality, Usability, Responsiveness, Content, and Feedback Mechanism received mean scores ranging from 3.50 to 3.60. It shows that the GABAY-application can be a tool for students, teachers, and parents to achieve the learning competencies on the basic needs of children with ASD. By ensuring GABAY's alignment with evolving technology standards, this research aims to enhance educational outcomes for students with ASD.
