| 520 | _aThe study, Development of Clamping Fixture for Dies Inserts, aims to help fabricators and machinists to machine button dies and inserts. The prototype is composed of a Base, Fixed and Movable jaw, Vibration arms and Block. Button dies are used to replace the cutter without replacing the whole die. It makes the fabrication of the button dies and inserts a better option than replacing a whole die. It helps fabricators and machinists in the long run since fabricating button dies and inserts are much faster and cheaper. The time that is cut from the fixture setup will help not only the fabrication but also the production that are expecting to produce products by the die that is being maintained. The project can be used in milling, grinding and drilling operations. The project can hold cylindrical materials. It is evaluated as very acceptable by students and professional because of its ease of operation and accuracy in machining. | ||
