| 520 | _aEffective train movement relies heavily on proper signaling systems. Students at the Technological University of the Philippines lack access to adequate instructional materials on railway signaling, which is crucial for their future careers in the industry. To address this gap, researchers designed and developed a modular track and signaling simulation trainer that follows railway track and signaling systems. The goal was to create a hands- on, miniature model that demonstrates how switch points and signaling work in railway operations. The prototype features a scaled-down railway model, a digital control interface, and LED displays. After conducting tests on speed control, track functionality, and signal operation, the researchers evaluated the prototype with a group of 30 assessors, who gave it a positive review, with an average score of 4.78. The results confirm that the modular track and signaling simulation trainer is not only functional but also user-friendly and effective in conveying accurate information about railway signaling systems. In summary, the project successfully developed a valuable educational tool that can enhance the knowledge and skills of railway students at the university. | ||
