| 520 | _aSome poultry farmers and cockfighters have a problem in incubating and hatching game fowl chickens and turkeys. Some game fowl and turkey hens leave the eggs during brooding season causing low success hatching rate. This study, Development of Smart Game Fowl and Turkey Egg Incubator seeks to innovate poultry egg incubator and enhance the incubation process for small-scale producers of chicken, turkey, and game fowl. Modern technology is integrated with the incubator to automate its vital operations, ensuring efficient management and increased hatching rates. It has camera-assisted candling to determine the maturity and potency of eggs, a remote-control application using smartphone, an automatic temperature and humidity monitoring and control system as well as an automated water replenishment system to maintain ideal hatching environmental conditions. By using locally available materials, the design emphasizes affordability and accessibility. The incubator's ability to detect embryos and its hatching efficiency were used to assess its functionality. The prototype was evaluated by 40 respondents’ composts of 30 poultry owners/cockfighters, 5 Engineers, and 5 Information Technology (IT) experts and garnered an impressive overall mean score of 4.45 with a descriptive rating of excellent. This rating demonstrated the prototype’s potential to enhance small-scale farmers' egg incubation by its enhanced performance, robustness, and safety. However, the prototype needs steady electricity and internet access to sustain its remote-control application. This innovation has potential to increase production efficiency and help small- scale poultry farmers have a better control of eggs incubation and higher hatching rates.
