| 520 | _aAerial Unmanned Vehicle or (AUV) investigates the concept and development of a drone-based medical delivery service that was envisioned to improve health care access in remote regions. The work discusses the design and deployment of the system to enable fast transportation of critical medical drugs and AEDs to areas inaccessible by conventional transport means. The researchers used a mixed-methods approach, the study assesses the system in accordance with established quality criteria on the ISO 25010:2011 System and Software Quality Model. Major findings include the fact that drone delivery decreases the time for responses during emergency operations. It is likely to improve the outcome of people in critical care systems. Other findings from the study involve regulatory and issues surrounding public perception that would influence the use of drone technology in healthcare logistics. Ultimately, the research will help increase the knowledge regarding innovative healthcare solutions and emphasize the integration of technological feats into medical service delivery frameworks.
